Immersion courses are highly recommended to improve your Spanish skills in a relatively short time. Granada is home to high quality Spanish courses offered by Nicaragua Spanish Lessons and its pioneer organization Proyecto Lingüístico Eco-Cultural. Classes are given mainly in Centro Cultural Convento San Francisco and occasionally at two other locations in Granada: Casa de Los Tres Mundos and Colegio San Antonio, all of them in Granada historic downtown. Convento San Francisco and Proyecto Lingüístico have a mutual cooperation agreement. Part of the profit benefits Centro Cultural Convento San Francisco. Proyecto Lingüístico also promotes and sponsors small preservation and environmental projects in small rural communities as well as small educational projects for poor children in Granada and nearby communities.
